Green PI Inc is presently looking for an RFP Proposal Writer who is able to provide persuasive proposals to future opportunities and bids, and requires a reliable professional who can manage aggressive deadlines while delivering quality work with a high level of detail. This is a permanent full-time position at our company and we are seeking like-minded people to join our team!

Must have:

  • Previous proposal writing and editing experience, background in business communications, journalism or marketing is an asset.
  • Strong English language skills with ability to read and interpret complex documents.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and have a key interest in staying current in web technologies.

Education

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or a technical field.

Role:

We at Green PI Inc. is looking for an eloquent, persuasive proposal writer to join our team in creating proposals. The proposal writer's responsibilities include gathering information, formatting the information according to company’s policies, obtaining supervisor approval, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source.

To be successful as a proposal writer, you should be able to articulate, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines. Ultimately, a top-notch proposal writer should be consistent, detail-oriented, and able to write in a factual, convincing manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and be able to convey the vision of the Director and the company into proposal responses.
  • Review RFP, RFI, RFQ and bid opportunities and customize proposal templates and responses based on specifications. This may include reviewing products, services, and/or business ideas. Along with maintaining consistency in proposal writing by following company policies.
  • Write, develop and edit end-to-end proposal content for various RFPs/RFQs/RFI/SOWs.
  • Incorporate previously-developed content into presentations and proposals, customizing as necessary.
  • Work on multiple deadlines and schedules concurrently to maintain 100% on time proposal delivery. This may include creating strategies for convincing others to take appropriate action.
  • Attending meetings and identifying opportunities for proposal writing.
  • Editing and revising proposals according to feedback.
  • Working with the design team to create graphics and visuals for projects.
  • Support all efforts to increase proposal win rates
  • Manage and ensure company brand guidelines throughout responses

Green PI Inc. is presently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide support on ongoing projects in relation to engineering design, Building Condition Assessment (BCA), and HVAC Design and is familiar with working on Net Zero Emissions reports and Environmental Sustainability reports. This is a permanent position.

Must have:

  • Must have five years of engineering design experience, commercial building evaluation, Building Condition Assessment (BCA), HVAC Design and familiar with working on Net Zero Emissions reports and Environmental Sustainability reports.
  • Must be registered with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), and have a P.Eng.
  • Driver’s license is required.
  • Able to use Mechanical Engineering technical skills to be able to work on engineering design and be able to work with other disciplines such as electrical, structural.

Experience With Following Programs

  • Familiar with Microsoft programs; eg: Excel, Word, Projects, etc.
  • AutoCAD
  • RETscreen, HAP, Revit, experience would be an asset.

Certificates

  • P.Eng is required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Role:

At Green PI Inc, you will be providing assistance with ongoing and new projects that requires an experienced mechanical engineer with expertise in design engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Experience and knowledgeable with HVAC design engineering, feasibility analysis, and energy modeling.
  • Experience with completing work on site for site surveys to a level to document existing conditions including mechanical, electrical and structural components to an extent that will allow them or a team member to reflect this information in AutoCAD.
  • Familiar with reviewing existing data from clients in regards to GHG emissions:
  • - Reviewing budget plans, BCA reports, and completed energy retrofit reports by third party consultants, and any available plans/reports
  • - Review current capital implementation plans, client’s mast plan, strategic plan, and technology plan
  • - Verify existing targets set and implementation plans
  • - Conduct on-site visits as needed to collect/verify information and communication with client
  • Identify gaps and carry out outstanding assessments required.
  • Review/Develop energy analysis for individual facilities to verify current equipment consumption for future net zero system requirements.
  • Propose pathways towards net zero emissions for client.
  • Identify opportunities for replacement/improvement, and innovative solutions, to reduce emissions, water consumption and waste to net zero.
  • Provide specifications for proposed solutions:
  • - Building-specific zero emissions transition plans and modelled emissions and energy savings
  • - Technical scope of work/prepare specifications for tendering agreed upon solutions
  • - Prepare scope of programs for transportation, water, and waste as required
  • - Identify solutions that also address long term climate resiliency
  • - Create a schedule for implementation:
  • - Prioritize buildings based on opportunities and natural intervention points.
  • Ensure all projects are compliant with all provincial and national regulatory standards pertaining to health and safety, quality and labor management.
  • Perform any other needed duties as required.
